Hello!

My name is Will Walburger. I grew up in Canton, where becoming an Eagle Scout taught me early on to care for the environment and help people wherever I could. I went on to study Economics at Loyola University Maryland, and after my freshman year I came home looking for a way to make a real impact — especially in a state with the second-highest electric rates in the country. I’ve always loved working face-to-face with people and solving real problems, and that’s how I found solar.

For the past three years, my company has partnered with Sunrun, the #1 residential solar provider in the United States. Sunrun has been in business since 2007 and has helped more than 1,000,000 homeowners transition to clean, affordable energy. They pioneered the no-upfront-cost solar model, operate the nation’s largest fleet of home solar + battery systems, and are trusted by utilities, manufacturers, and policy leaders across the country. I chose to work with Sunrun because they consistently deliver the best technology, the strongest warranties, and the most stable long-term support for homeowners. Their scale, experience, and customer-first approach allow me to offer families solutions that are reliable, affordable, and built to last for decades.

What really sets me apart is how I handle home readiness. Most companies push the cost of roofs, tree work, or electrical upgrades onto the homeowner. I do the opposite. I fight to make sure those items are fully covered so families can switch to solar without paying a penny out of pocket — the way the program was meant to work.

My customers describe me as polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and someone who makes the entire process effortless. I take pride in tailoring every system to a homeowner’s current and future needs and removing all the stress from the process. I’m proud to have installed over 300 kW of solar, which has the same environmental impact as:

  • Eliminating more than 300,000 pounds of COâ‚‚

  • Avoiding nearly 400,000 miles driven by a gas car

  • Planting over 4,000 trees

I don’t “sell” solar — I help families switch to solar. With AI data centers expanding, electrification accelerating, and electricity demand climbing fast, I know rates in CT are going to keep rising. My job is to help homeowners protect themselves by producing their own power and locking in a predictable fixed rate from day one — with no upfront cost.

But honestly, what means the most are the Christmas cards, the thank-you messages, and the dinner invitations from homeowners who’ve become friends. That only happens when trust is real and earned.

My long-term vision is simple: help as many Connecticut families as possible break free from Eversource and finally gain control and predictability over their energy bills.
